In March we will be partnering with Parents Helping Parents for two free virtual Zoom trainings:

“A Guide to IEP and Special Education Process” on March 8th at 7:00-8:30pm. Would you like to improve your skills and knowledge to become active partners in developing your child’s educational program? Topics covered include

• The Special Education Process

• How an Individual Education Program is developed

• Parent’s Rights

“18 and Beyond, Intro to Adult Services.” March 9th 6:30-8:00pm. Looking for info on what’s out there to help young adults? Covered topics will include

• Social Security

• CA Children’s Services

• Regional Center

• In-Home Support Services

• Dept. Rehabilitation

• Employment/Volunteer/Community Involvement and more

Both trainings are provided in Spanish and English.

Register and attend either of these virtual trainings and then join other TBODS parents in person to talk about what you learned and how it applies to your family over dinner on Friday, March 25th. Childcare will be provided.
