Community Fun at Kite Day

On Saturday May 4th the TBODS community enjoyed a fun filled day at the park. DJ Nathan Wiltz helped get the party started with some rockin’ beats and the Myer’s family donated a bounce house that had us jumping for joy! Rob and Megan Beckhart manned the grill and served up a delicious lunch with the help of the whole community who brought a varied array of tasty picnic dishes from fried rice and Korean short ribs to fresh picked cherries!

The weather was just right for flying kites. The gentle breeze lifted kites skyward as kids young and old ran through the sunshine with colorful ribbons and giggles trailing behind them. It was wonderful to catch up with old friends and welcome new ones to this community. Thank you to Caitlin Braden for organizing the event that brought us all together to celebrate the unique life we are living and what a true JOY it is!
